John Jones

Formerly our lifeboat operations manager, John remains as a deputy launching authority.  A professional nautic, he works for the harbour board and his duties include piloting some of the ships that dock in Littlehampton harbour.  He was crew of Ramsgate Lifeboat many years ago, and later worked at local boatbuilding company William Osborne Ltd as a staff coxswain, taking lifeboats built and refitted at the yard on sea trials and delivery passages.
